KEEPING IT REAL - Exciting and New....

This past weekend was busy and tiring. Starting on Thursday February 26th we were in Los Angeles all day. We were at FIDM for information day which we have already been to, except this time they were having their Premier Fashion Show in Santa Monica at the Barker Hanger.

Peter and I did not know what to expect and so we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, there were alot of people and the crowd was big. The Fashion Show was professional to say the least!!!! They previewed 11 Designers all who were very talented. By the end of the night, we could only say wow!
Came home late that night, and we were so exhausted. Calinia is so ready to go there and start.

Friday morning we were up and out of the house by 7.30 am to get to San Diego which is an hour away from Temecula. The traffic was heavy going into the base because of all the families coming to see their loved one graduate from the United States Marines. The ceremony was beautiful and touching. Peter has never seen a Military graduation and was moved by the tradition. Our family has a long history with the United States Military Service and we have a deep respect for those who serve because we are reminded that our freedom is not to be taken lightly. My daddy and mommy grew up under Marshall Law in the Phillipines so they understand what it is like not to have it. We are so proud of Jared who graduated from the Uniteds States Marines and Sammy who graduated last year from the United States Army and has already had four promotions.

Saturday was a day of relaxation and a chance to catch up on some sleep!

Sunday we had a celebration for Jared and for myself. I turned 45 this birthday and I feel wonderful. Thank you GOD for my health. I have been taking my health more serious and I even made my goal to run two miles in thirty minutes.

Kathy and Mike had the celebration at their house and it was just an awesome day once again to be with family. I am blessed to have a family that really shares the same understanding of how important we are to each other.

I also was taken out to dinner by Peter, Calinia along with Alexa. We went to CPK of course but it was nice, they even gave us free dessert and was it GOOD! I am soooo thankful for such an awesome husband and a wonderful daughter, they are more than I could ever ask for and I will always let them know how special they are to me, everyday.
